Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the furniture assembly services provided by NEAssembly ("I," "me," or "my"). By requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or otherwise using my services, you agree to these Terms.

Services Provided

NEAssembly provides flat-pack furniture assembly services for single-person-assemblable furniture brands, including but not limited to IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon Basics, and Sauder. My services are assembly-only. I do not provide delivery, furniture disassembly, or haul-away/removal of old items unless separately agreed in writing.

Service Area

I currently serve Northwest Connecticut, generally within about 20 miles of Torrington, CT. If you're unsure whether your location is within range, please reach out before booking.

Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided through this website or by phone are estimates based on the information you provide about your furniture. Final pricing may vary if the actual item differs in complexity, piece count, or condition from what was described. Any pricing changes will be communicated to you before work begins.

Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide reasonably accurate information about your furniture and service address, and to ensure someone is present (or other access arrangements have been made in advance) at the scheduled appointment time. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

Customer Responsibilities

Ensure the furniture and all included hardware are present and accounted for prior to the appointment
Provide a safe, reasonably clear workspace for assembly
Inspect completed assembly at the end of the appointment and raise any concerns before I leave

Limitation of Liability

I take care in assembling your furniture according to manufacturer instructions. However, I am not responsible for defects in the furniture itself, including but not limited to missing parts, manufacturing defects, or damage that occurred prior to my arrival. To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim arising from my services is limited to the amount paid for the specific job in question.

Insurance

NEAssembly is licensed and insured. Details of coverage are available upon request.

Cancellations

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with insufficient notice may be subject to a fee.

Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of NEAssembly and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
